St Kevin's Community Hub

We welcome you to engage with us!

At St Kevin’s Primary School, we believe our community is strongest when families and staff work together. When parents and caregivers feel connected and involved, our children grow as confident learners who feel supported, valued, and encouraged to become the best versions of themselves.

We warmly invite all families to engage with school life in ways that feels meaningful to them. Your insights, presence, and participation enrich our community and help us create a welcoming, faith‑filled environment where every child can thrive. We offer many opportunities for parents and carers to connect, contribute, and be part of our vibrant community. Below is a list of ways you can get involved throughout the year:

  • Family and Community and Engagement (F.A.C.E.) Network - We are a dedicated group of parents and carers who organise events and initiatives throughout the year to strengthen connections, support families, and enrich school life. Our involvement helps build the welcoming, vibrant community that makes St Kevin’s special. St Kevin's F.A.C.E. network is proudly supported by Catholic School Parents QLD
  • Pastoral Parents - Work together to support new and existing families by helping build a welcoming, caring school community.
  • Welcome Disco & BBQ - An opportunity to come together at the start of the year to meet other families and celebrate together.
  • Tuckshop Volunteering - Lend a hand in the tuckshop and help provide meals and snacks for students.
  • Community Chest — Our Community Chest is a much‑loved initiative held once each term, offering families the chance to browse and collect pre‑loved items — all completely free. It’s a practical way we support one another, reduce waste, and strengthen our sense of community. Families are welcome to take what they need or donate quality items for others to enjoy, helping us care for each other in a spirit of generosity.

At St Kevin’s, we aim to ensure everyone feels informed, included, and engaged in the school journey. through regular, meaningful communication. Families can stay up to date through our classroom blogs and newsletters. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for up-to-date information about upcoming school and community events.
